Mses. Giordano and Zeitzer will speak on the appointment of Receivers and Special Real Estate Commissioners, as alternatives to litigation, to cost-effectively resolve the challenges in disputes involving secured lender actions, and jointly-owned assets and operating businesses, as a result of business divorce, partition, contested estates, and family law matters.
Beth Jo Zeitzer is the Owner and Designated Broker of R.O.I. Properties. R.O.I. was formed in 2003, and is a full-service Real Estate Brokerage firm focused on the Valuation, Marketing and Sale of Commercial, Residential and land assets. R.O.I. works with business owners, investors, and other other owners regarding the marketing and sale of commercial, residential and land assets, including multi-family, retail, office, industrial, hospitality assets. She also serves as Court-Appointed Receiver, Bankruptcy Trustee and Special Master/Special Real Estate Commissioner in numerous Real Estate matters. Beth Jo is an attorney by training, and former Corporate Counsel and Director of Commercial Properties for Del Webb Corporation, where she managed and developed a $96 million, 600-acre commercial property portfolio.
Ms. Giordano is a Director with Kotzin Valuation Partners, LLC, an Arizona-based valuation and litigation support firm. Ms. Giordano has extensive experience as a financial professional, with a diversified background that encompasses internal audit, banking, tax, business valuation, fraud investigation and forensic accounting, bankruptcy and restructuring, court-appointed receiverships, court-appointed special master and compliance monitor, and other litigation support services. Ms. Giordano is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Business Appraiser (CBA), Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), Certified in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV), a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), and a Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA).

Member registration and the request for guest registration must be completed before the registration cut-off on the Friday before the luncheon, at noon.
6. The member can only invite one guest to any luncheon.
7. The member is responsible for following up with his/her guest after the luncheon to invite the guest to join Scottsdale Bar.
