All Scottsdale based law firms or practice groups are encouraged to contact Lance Davidson at LSD@CleverLegal.com and volunteer to staff at least one month during the year for this worthwhile and highly visible community outreach program.  Paiute nights are the same night as our luncheon (second Tuesday of the month).

We ask the volunteer attorneys to try to arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. The clinic starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 7:00p.m. There is space for 30 clients to sign up. Volunteers spend roughly 10-15 minutes with each attendee, providing them basic advice and ‘pointing them in the right direction.’ Sometimes all the attendees need is someone to listen to them. On the quietest nights, volunteers often leave well before 7:00. 

Volunteers do not have to know every area of law. Most issues deal with simple wills/trusts/probate, contract, landlord/tenant, or custody/divorce.  We have some "cheat sheets" and reference materials to help you! More significantly, the nature of the issues confronted by the attendees is in many instances heart-rendering and you can help.

The Scottsdale Bar Association extends its thanks to each of these firms and individuals for committing to volunteer in 2019. Volunteers are needed for several 2019 months still!
