A MESSAGE FROM SCOTTSDALE BAR PRESIDENT JIM PADISH
APRIL 5, 2020
Nothing is “normal” now. Except for those of us in essential services, our community and country, including the courts, are pretty much shut down. Even so, we’ll continue to help those who need our legal assistance. That may include sharing information about how to keep a small business afloat while keeping valued employees, guiding divorcing couples who have ongoing custodial conflict, or assisting the families of those who have been taken by this deadly disease.
None of us can do this alone. As members of the Scottsdale Bar Association, let’s share our collective experiences and solutions with each other. Pick up the phone; text or email; or, even TikTok to bring a bit of lightness to this heavy time (if you don’t know what this is, find out- it’s worth it!). In these ways, we will exponentially enhance each other’s ability to do what we do best: think clearly and objectively when those around us are unable to do so.
Let’s all stay safe and strong. Together, we will weather this storm.
