FOOD DRIVE FOR CANCER FLOOR AT PHOENIX CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL

The donation cabinet is on the 7th floor which is the cancer floor at PCH. The Kitchenette is set up for the families who find themselves spending lots of time on the floor with their child/relative who is going through chemotherapy. The hospital feeds one parent and the child during the course of treatment but many other people are affected and could use some snacks

The hospital will accept individually packaged snacks/meals but not jars of anything that would be shared for fear of spreading germs.

Examples are all non-perishable like: Individual microwavable mac and cheese, breakfast/protein bars, single servings of nuts, trail mix, small bags of chips, cans of soup, ramen meals etc.

The floor only has a microwave, no stove. Bowls, plates and plasticware are all available for family use.

When you register, you will be asked to indicate your meal choice: simply type REGULAR or VEGETARIAN (note the descriptions below).  If you require a special meal other than the regular or vegetarian selections due to dietary restrictions, please type in your requirements.
